Topics include: • Implementing the Incident Command System • Overview of the Emergency Response Plan • Hazards and risks of personal protective clothing • Overview of the local emergency response plan • Overview of the National Response Plan • Basic hazard and risk assessment • Personal Protective Equipment • Hazardous material terminology • Basic spill control and containment • Basic decontamination procedures • Operating and termination procedures • Hazards and risks of oil spills • Fate of spilled oil in the environment • Recognition of oil spills • Identification of hazardous substances • Individuals roles in the oil spill response plan • Recognition of when help is needed | HAZWOPER Refresher Duration of course is 8 hours.
